FRIDAY THE 13TH

Friday the 13th - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Auggie. I thought Friday the 13th was supposed to be an unlucky day - however for Auggie it brought him nothing but good. Another year older, 3 addorable children to spend the weekend with, a new labelmaker and last but not least a new camcorder. So the children will get to perform and be stars for him all weekend.

We have the three grandchildren this weekend, while the parents spend a peaceful, QUITE Anniversary alone together. Things are going great, we have put puzzles together, played cards and strung beads. If the weather warms up, we may go play at the playground and go to the farm and see the baby lambs.

For Valentine's, Auggie got a very nice set of jugs. Terrible when the wife has to buy her husband new jugs. You will have to ask him about them - I'm sure they will come in handy some day.

Last weekend we spent in Idaho, celebrating Kaycee Marie's 2nd Birthday. It was nice to see Manual, Robyn and Kaycee. Kaycee is growing up so fast. Auggie and I stayed with Butch and Boo in Meridian and enjoyed the time we spent with them. Boo fixed prime rib lunch on Sunday and we had Manual, Robyn and Kaycee over. Monday on the trip home we had fog, rain, snow and very little sunshine - but after fourteen hours we were back home.

Super Bowl Aftermath

Man was that close I thought the Cardinals had done it. Just could not hold them the last few minutes. O well the wern't known for their defence but they did a good job.
Well the weekend party was lacking for excitement but was a good weekend anyway.
I did get out sat and do a few things on the quads and clean up the shop.
I don't even think I opened the door to look outside on sunday, OH wait Grandma opened the front door and I turned around on the couch and the sunlite started the vampire eyes to glow. Then the sun setting in the west shined, shoned?? on the tv so had to shut the door that sunlite is bad for you??
Cleaned up the computer room of my mess, seems that I just drop everything on the floor in the corner and need to put things away once in a while so I can get to the closet. I don't know why they put a top on my desk there is no room for anything on it.
Grandma caught up on some stuff this weekend. Did some sewing, that's why she opened the front door cause of all the dust she created when she started moving the stuff on the machine. At least the little critters have a home most of the year.
I put together a powerpoint presentation yesterday and thought I could put it in the blog but techno cells in the old grey matter seem to not comprehend or understand. So if there are any of you young minds out there HELP.

Super Bowl weekend man have the partys started, first we have done the dishes, second vacuum and dust. third take a nap. Well that was exhausting and its not even nap time.
Need to get out of the house and clean up and put away some ATV stuff. Make sure nothing was lost last trip. Anthony is leaving for home tommorrow hope to hear from him. Can't wait to see him and Kaycee, Robyn. At least Kaycee will get her christmas present. We will leave on the 6th early morning and get to ButchnBoos in the evening and will be staying with them for the weekend. Now you want to party just stick around these guys a while and see what happens. Weather seems ok for the trip except a chance of rain in Idaho.
Need to get moving burning daylight. Maybe granny will add something new someday.

Morning Suprise

Can you imagine my surprise this morning when I was on facebook; someone had invited me to join? So I sign up and I guess it send out invitations to join the network. Well little did I know my kid Anthony (Manuel) joins my network, he already had his for some time which I did not know. Any way this morning I was on facebook and I went to his site just to see what was going on and all of a sudden this thing pops and its him wanting to chat, of course I did not know how to work the chat thingy but with his help I learned, now I’m a veteran. He is still in Nigeria and will be leaving this weekend and should be home in time for the granddaughters’ birthday party in Nampa next weekend. It's been a long time since I was that far from home, family and friends but I can remember how hard it was.
Pretty cool to have things happen like that when you’re so far apart.Don't you just love modern technology?

Time to get with it

I guess we need to join the blog group. This is quite neat to keep in touch with the family and friends. It's nice to see what is going on every few days. Keep updating so we know what is going on.
